Matt helps guide UK employers through the legal environment in which they operate, in a way that best suits their aims, needs and resources – so they can achieve the outcomes they need with legally robust or appropriate solutions, in turn allowing them to focus on their core business.

He works in close partnership with business and employer clients, where he aims to be considered as an extension of their teams, by providing advice, representation, support and counsel as needed.

In 2001 Matt qualified as a solicitor with an international commercial law firm. Since then he has worked for a large regional commercial law firm and a national plc law firm, as well as a niche commercial practice.

Matt no longer practices as a solicitor, preferring to work as an “legal and management consultant”, which he feels better serves the interests of his clients and provides him with more freedom to support business clients in the way they really need.

Matt has over 20 years’ experience in legal practice advising and representing employers, and over 10 years’ business experience. He has held multiple company directorships and governance roles in that time, and has direct business management experience having been part of an executive team where he had personal budget responsibility for a £2.5m P&L and a team of 20 lawyers, where he also had strategic responsibility for a graduate recruitment programme.

Matt set up Zeamos in 2021, with the purpose of providing business client’s with the advice and support they need, delivered in a cost effective way.
